God Chooses

³¹ “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Luke 16:31

Not everyone will be saved. No matter how much they hear the gospel message, or see the dead rise. It's Christ that chooses us and saves us. The Holy Spirit is what allows us to understand heaven's secret. The gospel message.

The rich man begged and pleaded with Abraham to allow Lazarus to go back and tell his brothers to believe. Though it is God who chooses us and changes our hearts, it is still our jobs as ambassadors of Christ to spread the good news. It's sad to know that not everyone will be saved, but without us acting, how many unsaved people could have been saved if they only heard the Good News? The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few... The harvest field is everywhere... work, family, church, and friends. I only need to talk about Jesus and allow them to hear the Gospel message, the rest is up to God. 

Jesus forgive me for now allow your message to be heard to all. Don't let me be like the rich man with regrets. Help me to utilize all interactions to speak of your saving power. Holy Spirit give me boldness. Thank you Jesus for choosing me.
